The calculations formula determines how the values for length, width, and depth are computed. This formula can be incorporated into the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure it is included; alternatively, it can be configured from the component side. If any of these three fields are left empty, they will default to a value of 1.

Manual Cost: If the "manual cost" option is checked at the top hierarchy, the specified cost at that level will apply. Conversely, if this option is not checked, any changes made to the price at the top hierarchy will not override the existing purchase order or quotation associated with that level.
-
If "manual cost" is checked and a sales percentage is modified from the sales order or quotation, that change will not propagate through all components in the hierarchy. However, if this option is unchecked, the sales percentages will be updated throughout the hierarchy, reaching the top level.
Calculation Methodology:
- Expected Quantity = length * width * depth
- Cost Price Per Unit = Cost Price per Sales Unit / Expected Quantity
- Cost Price per Sales Unit = Expected Quantity * Price per Unit
- Markup Factor = Sales Price per Sales Unit / Cost Price per Unit
- Sales Price per Sales Unit = Expected Quantity * Cost Price per Sales Unit * Markup Factor
